Job Summary

The ICT Engineer Electrical is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining electrical and ICT systems, ensuring seamless integration of power and communication infrastructure. This role involves working with network systems, data centers, and electrical components to optimize performance, reliability, and security.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design & Implementation:
   • Design and implement ICT and electrical systems, including structured cabling, power distribution, and network infrastructure.
   • Ensure compatibility between electrical and ICT components in data centers, telecommunications, and office environments.
   • Work with teams to develop power backup solutions (UPS, generators) for ICT systems.
2. Installation & Maintenance:
   • Oversee installation of ICT hardware, electrical wiring, and network infrastructure.
   • Perform preventive maintenance on power and ICT systems to minimize downtime.
   • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to power supply and ICT networks.
3. System Integration & Networking:
   • Ensure seamless integration of ICT and electrical systems for reliable connectivity.
   • Support network design, configuration, and optimization of communication systems.
   • Implement and maintain fiber optic, LAN/WAN, and wireless communication networks.
4. Compliance & Safety:
   • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
   • Conduct risk assessments and recommend improvements to mitigate electrical and ICT failures.
   • Maintain up-to-date documentation of system designs, configurations, and safety procedures.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering, ICT Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
• Experience: 3+ years of experience in ICT infrastructure, electrical systems, or network engineering.
• Technical Knowledge:
  • Proficiency in electrical systems related to ICT infrastructure (UPS, power distribution, grounding).
  • Experience with structured cabling, fiber optics, network design, and wireless communication.
  • Understanding of power backup solutions, data center power management, and security systems.
• Skills:
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
