Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on hydraulic systems of Power Screen machines.
  • Troubleshoot hydraulic issues, diagnose faults, and replace or repair defective components such as pumps, valves, cylinders, motors, hoses, and filters.
  • Carry out preventive maintenance to minimize breakdowns and prolong equipment lifespan.
  • Read and interpret hydraulic schematics, service manuals, and technical drawings.
  • Work closely with the electrical and mechanical maintenance teams to resolve complex machine faults.
  • Maintain maintenance logs and service records accurately.
  • Ensure all repair and maintenance work is carried out in compliance with safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
  • Assist in overhauls and major repair projects.
  • Manage hydraulic fluid levels, perform oil sampling, and replace hydraulic fluids when required.
  • Recommend improvements to prevent recurring faults.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the work area and tools.
  • Respond to urgent breakdowns and support production teams to minimize downtime.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Technical Diploma / ITI in Mechanical / Hydraulic Systems / Heavy Equipment Maintenance.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in hydraulic maintenance of heavy machinery, preferably in Power Screen, crushing, or screening equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of hydraulic circuits, components, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision under pressure.
  • Proficient in reading hydraulic and technical diagrams.
  • Familiar with industry-standard safety practices.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
