Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities


  • Conduct thorough inspections of HVAC systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, identifying potential issues before they escalate.
  • Review project specifications and drawings to verify installation accuracy, ensuring all components are installed according to design requirements.
  • Perform performance testing on HVAC equipment, analyzing data to validate efficiency and functionality, and providing actionable feedback to the installation team.
  • Document inspection findings in detailed reports, highlighting any discrepancies and recommending corrective actions to maintain quality standards.
  • Collaborate with project managers and contractors to resolve quality-related issues, fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
  • Ensure that all HVAC systems are installed and maintained according to local and national codes, safeguarding the health and safety of building occupants.
  • Monitor the quality of materials used in HVAC installations, verifying that they meet specified standards and are suitable for their intended use.
  • Utilize advanced inspection tools and software to streamline the quality control process, ensuring efficient and accurate evaluations.
  • Conduct regular training sessions for installation personnel on quality control best practices, enhancing overall team competency.
  • Stay updated on the latest HVAC technologies and quality control methodologies, implementing best practices to enhance operational efficiency.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Experience in HVAC inspection, preferably within the oil & gas industry.
  • ADNOC approval is an added advantage.
  • A diploma or degree in HVAC technology, mechanical engineering, or a related field is essential for technical competence.
  • Certification from recognized bodies such as HVAC Excellence or NATE is preferred to validate expertise in HVAC systems.
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency with HVAC inspection tools and software, are crucial for accurate assessments.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and attention to detail are key personal qualities for effectively identifying and resolving issues.
  • Physical stamina is necessary to perform inspections in various environments and to handle equipment safely.
  • A proactive attitude and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement will help candidates thrive in this dynamic role.
