Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

HVAC Engineer/s must process the following skills/knowledge.

· Design HVAC systems and components for various applications including schematic drawings.

  • Perform load calculations and energy analysis to maximize efficiency.
  • Conduct site assessments and system evaluations to identify improvements.
  • Collaborate with clients and contractors to integrate HVAC systems into designs.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve HVAC system issues, providing technical support as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with marine standard and federal regulations, SOLAS / MODU and other class regulation requirement.
  • Prepare and review technical documentation, reports, and project proposals.
  • P&ID and schematic, Refrigeration and ductwork design
  • Participate in project management and client presentations as required.Heat mass transfer and thermodynamic;
  • Good drafting skill and documentation skill;
  • Electrical background and knowledge has added advantage;
  • Main Switchboard, control panel design;

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum [5 years] of experience in HVAC design and engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, equipment, and control systems.
  • Strong proficiency in CAD software and simulation tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
