Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Verify HVAC studies submitted by the BET: principle diagrams, plans, calculation notes, thermal balances, dimensioning, etc.
- Identify inconsistencies, technical anomalies, or non-conformities with project requirements or current standards.
- Carry out internal technical evaluations, contribute to the validation of technical choices, materials, and proposed systems.
- Collaborate with the purchasing department for the selection of equipment (CTA, chillers, VRV, etc.).
- Ensure the monitoring of installation on-site: respect of plans, quality of installation, regulatory compliance (hygiene, ventilation, safety).
- Technically coordinate subcontractors and anticipate interface problems with other lots (electricity, architecture, plumbing...)
- Participate in site meetings and technical synthesis meetings.
- Follow tests, commissioning, and balancing at the end of the site.
- Ensure the application of current standards: RT, RE, hospital standards, safety, air quality, etc.
Desired Candidate Profile
Formation:
- Engineering degree in Climate Engineering, Thermal Engineering, Energy or equivalent (BAC+5)
Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in HVAC, including proven experience in on-site execution
- Experience in hospital projects or sensitive establishments (laboratories, clean rooms) is highly appreciated.
Technical skills:
- Very good mastery of heating, ventilation, air treatment, air conditioning and regulation systems
- Good knowledge of technical standards applicable in hospital environments (air flow rates, differential pressures, filtration, thermal comfort, etc.)
- Ability to read and interpret schematic diagrams, synoptics, execution plans, calculation notes
- Mastery of tools: AutoCAD, Revit (reading), thermal/aeraulic calculation software (Pléiades, ClimaWin, etc.)
