Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
The Human Resources Officer plays a critical role in the management and development of the organization's human resources. This position requires a dynamic individual who is adept at handling various HR functions including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance with labor laws. As a Human Resources Officer, you will be instrumental in fostering a positive organizational culture and ensuring that all HR policies are effectively implemented. Your ability to communicate effectively, handle sensitive information discreetly, and build relationships with employees at all levels is crucial for success in this role. You will be part of a dedicated team committed to enhancing employee experience and driving business growth through strategic human resource practices.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company's business objectives.
- Manage the recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates.
- Administer employee benefits programs to ensure alignment with industry standards.
- Conduct employee onboarding and deliver orientation sessions for new hires.
- Facilitate training and development programs to enhance employee skills and performance.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws.
- Handle employee grievances and manage disciplinary procedures and investigations.
- Collaborate with department heads to improve employee engagement and retention strategies.
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate employee records and HR systems.
- Prepare reports and presentations on HR metrics to guide decision-making.
- Support performance management processes to identify and develop talent within the organization.
- Work closely with HR leadership on special projects to drive HR initiatives and improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a human resources role.
- Strong understanding of HR policies, processes, and labor legislation.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Proficient in HR management software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to HR challenges.
