Roles & Responsibilities
Overview
AtkinsR alis are currently looking for experienced HSSE Specialist to join our team for projects across varying sectors and various locations within Qatar. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a growing team on high profile projects within in Qatar.
Your role
- Assist in developing and implementing HSSE policies and procedures in line with company and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct routine site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Support risk assessments and hazard identification activities for FM operations.
- Monitor and report on HSSE performance metrics and assist in incident investigations.
- Deliver toolbox talks and safety awareness sessions to employees and contractors.
- Maintain accurate HSSE documentation and records for audits and compliance checks.
- Assist in emergency preparedness planning and drills.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure HSSE requirements are integrated into daily operations.
Desired Candidate Profile
Qualifications
- BSc or Diploma in a relevant discipline.
- Reasonable related and applicable HSSE certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, ISO standards).
- Total 7 years of experience with minimum 2 years of experience as an HSSE Specialist in the Facility Management field.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of HSSE regulations and best practices in Facility Management.
- Familiarity with ISO standards and auditing processes.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to promote safety culture.
- Ability to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Basic incident investigation and reporting skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
