Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

· To assist the Head of HSEQ in all matters pertaining to health, safety, environment and quality, in line with Concordia’s strategic and service objectives.

· Assist Head of HSEQ with the development and maintenance of policies, procedures forms.

· Be responsible for executing the company HSEQ induction and other training programs and be part of the safety professional team.

· To assist the departmental managers in promoting and implementing HSEQ awareness initiatives within the company.

· To provide effective and efficient administrative support and coordination of daily operations and departmental requirements.

· To assist HSEQ Permit to Work Management for the Concordia operations and the Master Community JLT.

To manage Internal and External HSEQ Training Programmes and up to date records.

Desired Candidate Profile

A Degree/Diploma in any branch of Engineering or Technology or a Degree in any other stream with;

· Lead Auditor in ISO 9001

Experience in HSEQ Internal Audits

Valid UAE Driving License.

NEBOSH IGC in Occupational Health and Safety

IRCA Lead Auditor in ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.

Member of IOSH / IIRSM.

· IT literate and proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Visio, PowerPoint and Word.

· Ability to document process and create flow charts

· Ability to accurately and precisely capture, record and report information both manually and electronically.

· Ability to professionally and clearly prepare business correspondence.

· Ability to communicate effectively in person, via email, telephone and in writing.

· Ability to interact appropriately and comfortably with individuals from a wide range of cultures and nationalities.

· Ability to interact appropriately and comfortably with staff at all levels within the organization.

· Ability to interact with internal and external customers in a professional manner at all times.

Ability to respect and maintain the confidentiality of the organization's information
