Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Supervise daily site operations to ensure compliance with HSE standards and procedures.
Conduct routine safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
Identify hazards and implement preventive measures to mitigate risks.
Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses; prepare detailed reports with corrective actions.
Provide HSE training and toolbox talks to employees and contractors.
Ensure the use of proper personal protective equipment (PPE) on-site.
Maintain HSE documentation, records, permits, and reports.
Liaise with local authorities, clients, and third-party auditors on HSE matters.
Monitor environmental compliance related to waste management, emissions, and spills.
Support emergency response planning and drills.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.
- NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, or equivalent HSE certification (mandatory).
- Strong knowledge of local and international HSE laws and regulations.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
- Ability to lead and influence teams in a safety-first culture.
- Proficiency in MS Office and HSE management systems.
