Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop safety policies and strategies,
  • Inspects and monitors any violations of health and safety instructions, and stops them immediately until corrective action is taken.
  • Conduct safety audits to identify possible hazards and address potential accidents.
  • Monitor & analyze the safety performance & objectives.
  • lead safety training programs for employees & explain health and safety laws and regulations, detail safety procedures, discuss preventative strategies.
  • Generate Safety Issue Reports investigate incidents, offer solutions, and follow up to ensure that the issue leading to the incident has been addressed and corrected.
  • Determine unsafe conditions & Apply the needed safety procedures.
  • Conducting fake trials on facing emergencies and laying out different scenarios for them, in combination with the concerned departments.
  • Investigate and analyze accidents, injuries, and occupational diseases, and determines recommendations and precautions to be taken to prevent their recurrence.
  • Ensure that all required risk assessments and risk mitigation plans are properly conducted and executed to eliminate all identified safety risks

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Science or Agriculture.
  • At least 5 7 years of experience as a manager.
  • Manufacturing or FMCG background is highly preferred.
  • Very good command of English.
  • Excellent level of using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • NEBOSH & OSHA are plus.
  • Must have ISO 14001 & ISO 45001.
