• Manage and actively participate in rescue, firefighting, and emergency activities, ensuring the proper use of fire, safety, and lifesaving equipment and systems
• Providing First Aid as needed. Maintaining the First aid items in the premises
• Regularly inspect and test firefighting equipment (e.g., fire hoses, alarms, fire hydrants, monitors, isolation valves, and couplings) to ensure they are in working condition
• Maintain up-to-date compliance documents in accordance with Civil Defense and other relevant government authorities’ guidelines. Represent the company in matters related to health, safety, and the environment
• Inspect work locations for maintenance needs and provide safety work permits and personal protective equipment (PPE) to workers. Be available 24/7 to report and respond to fire or other emergencies
• Oversee health and safety aspects for third-party contractors working on short-term or long-term projects (civil, mechanical, electrical, etc.)
• Monitor the maintenance of personnel safety equipment, such as breathing apparatus, fire suits, portable gas monitors, safety harnesses, and PPE
• Conduct training, program, events, on fire safety, lifesaving equipment, and evacuation procedures, including the preparation of breathing apparatus and escape sets
• Plan and execute mock drills for various emergencies (fire, spill, medical, and natural disasters) and prepare reports with findings and recommendations
• Record and update maintenance, inspections, testing, and inventory of fire and safety equipment
• Preparation of health and safety operating procedures, emergency plans, and conducting risk analysis
• Manage pest control activities across the company premises and lead housekeeping campaigns, including the implementation of waste segregation and disposal practices
• Actively participate in audits for HSE, ISO, EffCI GMP, 5S, Civil Defense, SASO, Sustainability and other standards. Ensure timely audits and prepare relevant reports for management
• Perform regular plant inspections to identify HSE deviations and conduct toolbox talks and training for employees and contracted staff. Maintain training records
• Supervise employee and premises security activities, including inducting contracted staff and monitoring daily reports, vehicle movements, and employee movements
• Ensure all relevant HSE permits, certificates, and documents (e.g., waste disposal, HFZA inspection, water test certificates, pest control, sewerage) are valid and monitor related activities
• Monitor all security-related matters, including vehicle entry, people movement, Material in and out, premises security, and frisking at the gate
