HSE Officer (Immediate Available) Rotary Engineering PTE. LTD. - AbuDhabi

• Participate in monitoring the HSE activities including auditing, sampling and inspection.

• Inspect the assigned Project Area daily to ensure works are executed safely.

• To be responsible for the training of new hires and all levels of personnel on HSE matters, with a specific attention to particularly hazardous tasks.

• Participate in the investigation of incidents, accidents and near misses.

• Report immediately to the Site HSE Manager and area Superintendent/Supervisor in case of dangerous actions and/or situation.

• To be of constant advisor on the field for any problem related to HSE for all the personnel.

• Verify on daily basis the correct use of PPE by all the personnel.

• Participate in the “Welfare and Site Committee” meetings monthly.

• To ensure that Fire Fighting and Safety equipment is regularly inspected and serviced.

• Check and ensure, the work crew deployed in respective area of control is completed require trainings and are competent.

• Check and ensure that, all plant and equipment deployed for the executing the work in respective area of control are inspected and approved.

• Check and ensure that, the approved MS & required level of FRA in place.

• Check and ensure that, Permit to Work is in place and follow up on findings.

• Ensure that all safety precautions stipulated in Permit to work and FRA is implemented at work area.

• Monitoring day to day work activities in respective area of control and advise Site Supervisors in HSE matters for prompt corrective action.

• Intervene and STOP the work if in presence of imminent danger to life and health, or to the environment and inform the Site Supervisor for corrective actions.

• Take initiatives for evacuation, in case of emergency on site.

• All the deviations which are taken during the Project in compliance with the COMPANY are recorded in HSE Deviation Register.
