Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with local and international HSE standards.
- Lead training programs to educate employees on HSE practices, promoting a strong safety culture.
- Investigate incidents and near misses, analyzing root causes and implementing corrective actions.
- Prepare and maintain HSE performance reports for management review.
- Collaborate with project managers and teams to incorporate HSE considerations into project plans.
- Stay updated with industry best practices, regulations, and technological advancements in HSE.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or Occupational Health and Safety.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in HSE management, ideally within the construction sector.
- Strong knowledge of HSE legislation and standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to lead training and awareness programs effectively.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA) are highly desirable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and influence stakeholders at all levels.
