Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures in alignment with local and international regulations.
Conduct regular risk assessments and safety audits to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
Lead incident investigations, analyze root causes, and implement preventive measures to minimize recurrence.
Deliver HSE training and awareness programs to employees at all levels to foster a culture of safety.
Monitor and ensure compliance with all statutory and company HSE requirements across multiple business units.
Prepare and present detailed HSE performance reports to senior management, highlighting key trends and improvement areas.
Coordinate emergency response planning and drills to ensure preparedness for potential incidents.
Liaise with regulatory authorities, contractors, and other stakeholders to maintain effective communication and compliance.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives in HSE performance and management systems.
Promote environmental sustainability initiatives and ensure responsible waste management practices.
Desired Candidate Profile
Minimum of 12 years of experience in a Health, Safety, and Environmental management role.
Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Science, and Environmental.
NEBOSH IGC, IOSH, OSHA, ISO 45001 Lead Auditor, or equivalent Certifications are mandatory.
Proven knowledge of local and international HSE regulations and best practices.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to influence and motivate others.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for effective training and stakeholder engagement.
Demonstrated experience in conducting risk assessments and incident investigations.
Ability to develop and implement HSE policies and procedures.
Proficiency in preparing detailed reports and presenting findings to management.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Experience in coordinating emergency response and safety drills.
Willingness to work on-site and adapt to dynamic operational environments.
