Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage HSE teams to ensure compliance with ADNOC standards, project HSE plans, and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement HSE Management Systems, risk assessments, PTW, and emergency response procedures for construction, fabrication, installation, and commissioning activities.
  • Conduct audits, inspections, and incident investigations using root cause analysis; ensure timely closure of findings.
  • Monitor worksite activities to identify hazards, enforce control measures, and promote a strong safety culture.
  • Coordinate with project management, client HSE representatives, and subcontractors to maintain consistent HSE performance.

Desired Candidate Profile

▪ Have strong understanding of the HSE issues, practices and behavioral aspects in the Oil & Gas EPC business.

▪ Able to lead a team of HSE professionals such as HSE Engineers, Sr. HSE officers, HSE officers etc.

▪ Sound understanding of the HSE Management System and HSE legislative requirements.

▪ Broad knowledge and experience in audit processes.

▪ Competency in SSOW (PTW/ WMS/ Risk Assessment etc.)

▪ Ability to develop HSE plans, Emergency response procedures/plans.

▪ Ability to analyze incidents and apply root cause analysis techniques.

▪ Awareness of H2S hazards and control measures.

▪ Effective interpersonal and verbal & written communication skills.

▪ Minimum 8-10 years’ experience in HSE in construction, fabrication, installation and/or commissioning projects / operations in the oil & gas or petrochemical industries.

▪ With at least 5 years’ experience in a lead HSE position managing team of HSE professionals.

Minimum one of the following:

▪ NEBOSH IGC or Equivalent

▪ Any other HSE certifications

▪ Lead auditor ISO 45001/ ISO 14001 or equivalent.

▪ Incident Investigation technique.

▪ Additional HSE Trainings / Certifications will be added advantage.
