Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Lead the rollout and implementation of ISO 14001 Environmental Management System.
- Oversee HSE compliance, risk assessments, inspections, and internal audits.
- Investigate incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with UAE HSE laws, environmental regulations, and international standards.
- Support environmental sustainability initiatives (waste reduction, recycling, energy efficiency, biodiversity).
- Provide technical guidance to the HSE team and collaborate closely with the Food Safety team.
- Prepare HSE performance reports, KPIs, and audit documentation.
- Develop and deliver HSE training and awareness programs.
- Liaise with regulators, auditors, and external partners to maintain compliance.
- Contribute to ESG and sustainability reporting processes
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor s degree in Environmental Science, Safety Engineering, or related field.
- Professional certifications: NEBOSH IGC (mandatory); ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 Lead Auditor preferred. HACCP/Food Safety awareness is an advantage.
- Proven track record in ISO 14001 implementation and HSE audits.
- Experience in hospitality, food & beverage, or service sector.
- Strong knowledge of UAE HSE regulations and international standards.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and incident investigation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite; experience in HSE reporting systems preferred.
