Job Summary

The HSE Engineer is responsible for implementing and monitoring health, safety, and environmental policies across project sites and operations. The role ensures compliance with legal regulations, company standards, and international safety guidelines. The HSE Engineer conducts inspections, risk assessments, and training to promote a safe working environment and prevent accidents.

Roles & Responsibilities

Develop and implement HSE policies, procedures, and site safety plans.

Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments.

Monitor compliance with HSE standards, regulatory requirements, and project-specific guidelines.

Investigate incidents, determine root causes, and recommend corrective actions.

Deliver safety orientations and training programs for employees and contractors.

Review method statements, job hazard analyses (JHA), and work permits.

Maintain HSE documentation, reports, and incident records.

Coordinate emergency preparedness drills and ensure readiness of safety equipment.

Advise project teams on safe work practices and mitigation measures.

Promote a proactive safety culture across all departments.

Requirements

Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.

3 - 5 years of HSE experience in construction, engineering, industrial, or similar sectors.

Strong experience in risk assessment, incident investigation, and safety audits.

Excellent communication and training skills.

Ability to enforce safety compliance and drive safety awareness.Role & responsibilities
