Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular site visits and safety inspections to monitor adherence to HSE policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
  • Lead or assist in incident investigations, performing root cause analysis and preparing reports.
  • Collaborate with project managers, supervisors, and contractors to foster a strong safety culture onsite.
  • Coordinate and deliver toolbox talks, safety briefings, and training for field personnel.
  • Monitor environmental compliance, including waste management and pollution control.
  • Support emergency preparedness and response drills.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports on field HSE performance and corrective actions to corporate HSE management.
  • Facilitate communication between corporate HSE and site teams to align safety objectives.
  • Conduct Field Performance Audit.
  • Liase with clients and other stakeholders when required
  • Participate in developing and improving HSE procedures for field operations.
  • Perform office administrative support as directed by the Head of Department

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferring Engineering Graduate.
  • 8+ years’ experience as HSE Engineer, preferably within construction.
  • NEBOSH International General Certificate, Level 6 Diploma, ISO 45001 & ISO 14001 Lead Auditor certifications.
  • Strong knowledge of local and international HSE laws, standards, and regulations (ISO 45001, ISO 14001, OSHA).
  • Proven skills in incident investigation and risk assessment.
  • Expertise in incident investigation and Root Cause Analysis
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and influence site teams.
  • Ability to work independently in dynamic field environments managing multiple sites.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural construction environment and liaise with clients and stakeholder
  • A passionate and innovative mindset committed to advancing safety excellence
