Job Description

An HR Generalist plays a crucial role in fostering an effective workplace by overseeing and implementing a wide range of human resources functions. This position requires a comprehensive understanding of HR policies, procedures, and practices. The HR Generalist is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the HR department, which includes administering policies, programs, and practices. This position also entails engagement in areas such as recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, and compliance. The HR Generalist serves as a key point of contact for both employees and management regarding HR-related queries and concerns, aiming to align HR strategies with business goals while promoting a positive work environment and organizational culture.


Responsibilities
  • Administer employee benefit programs, answering queries and resolving related issues efficiently.
  • Coordinate the recruitment process, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
  • Conduct new employee orientations, providing essential information on HR policies and procedures.
  • Manage employee records and ensure data accuracy and confidentiality at all times.
  • Advise managers on employee relations and performance management issues constructively.
  • Track and report on HR metrics, offering insights and recommendations to leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies to minimize organizational risk.
  • Develop and implement employee training and development programs to enhance skill sets.
  • Facilitate open communication between employees and management to ensure a harmonious workplace.
  • Handle employee grievances and disciplinary actions in a fair and consistent manner.
  • Contribute to the development of HR strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Participate in HR projects aimed at improving efficiency and employee satisfaction.

Requirements
  • Bachelor s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.
  • Minimum of two years' experience in a generalist role within a dynamic organization.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices and legislative requirements is essential.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, are needed.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Experience with HR software and systems for managing employee information.
  • Proven problem-solving skills and ability to handle sensitive employee-related issues.
