Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Key responsibilities of this role:
The HR Generalist will provide end-to-end HR operational support to the project, ensuring efficient workforce management, compliance with policies and regulations, to support our employee engagement objective at site.
· This role acts as the primary interface for the project team to implement company initiatives that support and achieve our business objectives.
· Manages end to end actives for an employee, provide accurate manpower lists, organization charts, and site deployment records.
· Lead the end-to-end HR operations including recruitment coordination, transfers, secondee support, preboarding, on-boarding and payroll processes.
· Timely address / escalate employee grievance, leave issues, and welfare matters at site level.
· Arrange trainings mandatory for project staff.
· Provide continuity and coverage during peak project periods and staff rotations.
· Monitor attendance, site schedules, and leave to ensure accurate monthly salary payouts.
· Act as an advisor to Project Director on local laws for compliance to regulations especially during peak project periods.
- The HR Generalist will optimize HR operations, enhance support to the project team, and sustain employee engagement, ensuring the project meets its objectives efficiently.
Requirement:
· Position Title: HR Generalist
· Reports To: Project Director (Immediate manager), works in consultation with HR Business Partner (UAE)
· Engagement Type: Full-time, on-site role (Abu Dhabi city)
Desired Candidate Profile
Skills & Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- Postgraduate / professional certification is a plus: (CIPD, SHRM)
- 2–5 years of relevant HR experience across key functions (recruitment, employee relations, performance management, payroll, etc.) in a project work environment.
- Excellent communication and influencing ability.
- High integrity, empathy, and discretion.
- Organizational agility — balancing policy with people.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and solution-focused mindset.
The monthly Salary package is budgeted at approx. AED 20,000/- plus benefits such as Home Flights, Insurance, for self & immediate dependents in UAE.
