Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Manage the recruitment and selection process, including sourcing and interviewing candidates.
  • Lead the full employee lifecycle for Emirati staff, from recruitment to exit, ensuring compliance with UAE labor laws and cultural sensitivities.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures specifically tailored to Emirati employees, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Manage the performance management system for Emirati employees, providing guidance, coaching, and support to enhance their professional development.
  • Oversee the Emiratization strategy, ensuring the company meets its targets and actively contributes to the national agenda.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Emirati employees, fostering open communication and addressing their needs effectively.
  • Coordinate and manage training and development programs for Emirati staff, focusing on career growth and leadership opportunities.
  • Handle employee relations issues, resolving conflicts and ensuring fair treatment for all Emirati employees.
  • Manage payroll and benefits administration for Emirati employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local regulations.
  • Stay updated on changes in UAE labor laws and HR best practices, ensuring the company's compliance and competitiveness.
  • Represent the company in interactions with government agencies related to Emiratization and HR matters.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
  • Oversee employee performance management, including conducting performance evaluations and providing feedback.
  • Manage employee relations issues, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related issues.
  • Manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance and retirement plans.
  • Conduct training and development programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  • Monitor and analyze HR metrics to identify trends and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date on HR best practices and industry trends to ensure the organization remains competitive in the market.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing Emiratization strategies.
  • In-depth knowledge of UAE labor laws and regulations, particularly those related to Emirati employees.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with Emirati employees.
  • Strong understanding of Emirati culture and traditions, and the ability to apply this knowledge in the workplace.
  • Experience in performance management, training and development, and employee relations.
  • Proficiency in both Arabic and English (written and spoken).
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • A proactive and results-oriented approach, with a passion for supporting the growth of Emirati talent.
  • Qualifications: Professional certification in HR, such as SHRM-CP or PHR, is preferred.
  • Industry Experience: 5+ years of HR experience in a similar role, preferably in the [industry] industry.
  • Work Experience: Proven experience in managing the full HR lifecycle, including recruitment, performance management, and employee relations.
  • Nationality Preference: No specific nationality preference.
  • Technical and Hard Skills: Proficiency in HRIS software and Microsoft Office suite.
