Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
We’re seeking an HR Business Partner – Automotive to act as a trusted advisor to senior line management, shaping and delivering people strategies that drive robust business growth. You’ll reinforce a culture of performance, meritocracy, and diversity while ensuring full compliance with HR policy and UAE labor law across the employee lifecycle.
What you will do
• Co-create the HR strategy and annual HR plan with business stakeholders, driving continuous improvement across HR activities
• Lead induction, succession planning, retention strategies, learning & development, and performance management (including improvement plans) to accelerate productivity and safeguard promotion processes
• Partner with Group Training to deliver annual training plans, meetings, and people reviews—ensuring successors are identified for all key roles
• Coach line managers on engagement (aligned to “Al Futtaim Way”), policy adherence, and disciplinary procedures; minimize risk and ensure compliance throughout the employee lifecycle
• Serve as a coach and change agent to senior leaders; monitor incentives and manpower budgets; design and implement engagement action plans.
• Advise on lean, multi-skilled structures; support reorganizations and consolidations; track productivity metrics and Emiratisation/localisation targets
• Report employee costs; lead manpower budgeting; manage HR budget; standardize monthly metrics on performance vs. budget, overtime, incentives, and casual labor
• Strengthen internal controls, educate staff via SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) trainings, and uphold Emirati-only positions where mandated
Desired Candidate Profile
• Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or Business Management; CIPD is desirable
• Minimum 5 years as an HR Generalist with prior HRBP experience; automotive sector background is preferred
• Demonstrated understanding of UAE labor law, policy compliance, and commitment to Emiratization/localization objectives
• Strong analytical capability and financial modeling skills to interpret and act on monthly HR metrics and budgets
