Roles & Responsibilities
Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE
Employment Type: Full-time
Reports to: Household Management
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and professional Housekeeping Manager to oversee the daily operations of a private household in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a team of 15–20 housekeeping staff, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, organization, and service are consistently maintained.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise, train, and manage a team of housekeeping staff (15–20 employees).
- Develop staff schedules, task assignments, and ensure smooth daily operations.
- Oversee cleaning, laundry, and household upkeep to ensure a pristine and well-maintained environment.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality standards and attention to detail are met.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and household items; place orders as needed.
- Coordinate with other household staff (butlers, chefs, maintenance, etc.) for seamless service.
- Handle staff performance, discipline, and resolve operational challenges.
- Maintain confidentiality, discretion, and professionalism at all times.
- Report regularly to the Principal or designated household manager on operations and staff performance.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience as a Housekeeping Manager / Executive Housekeeper, preferably in luxury hotels, resorts, or private households.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent knowledge of housekeeping operations, cleaning techniques, and luxury service standards.
- Ability to manage budgets, inventory, and scheduling.
- Good communication skills (English required; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage).
- Discreet, trustworthy, and professional with high attention to detail.
