Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily household operations, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently, from cleaning schedules to maintenance coordination.
  • Manage household budgets, track expenses, and optimize spending without compromising quality or service.
  • Supervise and train domestic staff, ensuring adherence to household standards and fostering a positive working environment.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for vendors and service providers, negotiating contracts and ensuring timely service delivery.
  • Plan and execute events and gatherings, handling logistics from catering to décor, while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Maintain an organized inventory of household supplies and equipment, ensuring all items are readily available and in good condition.
  • Implement and uphold security protocols to ensure the safety and privacy of the household and its occupants.
  • Assist with personal tasks for family members, including scheduling appointments, managing travel itineraries, and running errands.
  • Stay informed about household technology and systems, troubleshooting issues and coordinating repairs when necessary.
  • Foster a sense of community within the household, promoting harmony and open communication among staff and family members.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in house management or a similar role, demonstrating a strong track record of successful household operations.
  • Certifications in household management or related areas preferred, indicating a commitment to professional development.
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field, showcasing a foundational knowledge of service excellence. (Or any relevant experience)
  • Experience working in high-net-worth households, showing understanding of the unique requirements and expectations in luxury settings.
  • Fluency in English is required, and proficiency in additional languages is a plus for effective communication with diverse households.
  • Strong technical skills in home automation systems and household technology, ensuring efficient management of modern amenities.
  • Exceptional organizational abilities, capable of juggling multiple responsibilities and prioritizing tasks effectively.
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities, with experience in team management and conflict resolution to maintain a harmonious work environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships with family members, staff, and external partners.
  • A proactive attitude and problem-solving mindset, ready to address challenges and adapt to the dynamic needs of the household.
