Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

The primary duties and responsibilities of this role are:

  • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations for hotel departments, including Rooms, F&B, Spa, and Recreation.
  • Ensure non-gaming revenue is accurately recorded in POS systems, hotel platforms, and the general ledger
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance in financial statements, general ledger entries, and account reconciliations
  • Support procurement and inventory tracking for operating departments.
  • Prepare and manage operating budgets, forecasts, and monthly financial reports
  • Analyze revenue trends, cost structures, and profitability across hotel functions
  • Review monthly P&L statements for non-gaming areas, including all comp expenses
  • Serve as the accounting point person for all Point-of-Sale system upgrades across Ticketing, Hotel, F&B, and Retail
  • Provide regular executive-level updates on financial performance and strategic opportunities
  • Establish audit policies to maximize asset protection and enforce company income controls
  • Monitor internal controls and implement improvements to safeguard assets and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors, ensuring full documentation and alignment with regulatory standards
  • Oversee training and supervision of team members in Hotel Accounting, Accounts Receivable, and F&B Cashiering
  • Collaborate with operational leaders to guide financial decision-making and optimize departmental performance
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by senior leadership

Desired Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in hospitality finance or hotel accounting leadership
  • Strong knowledge of hotel operations, cost control, and revenue analysis
  • Proficient across financial systems and Microsoft Office
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a luxury resort environment
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and leadership skills
  • Very strong communication skills
