Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring the fiscal side of operations including accounting, rates, budgets, financial, HR, and inventory management.
  • Responsible for regulatory activities such as audits, inspections, MOH regulations, Saudi CDC updates, compliance to CBAHI standards, and SFDA submissions.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations (e.g., laws and regulations related to recruitment, professional staff licensure and registration, waste management, food management, infection prevention, and control, medication management, patient rights, radiation safety, and physical environment.
  • Have practical knowledge and expertise in health insurance and how to deal with the CCHI, insurance companies, TPA (Third Party Administrator) agents/companies, and Revenue Cycle Management procedures.
  • Liaising with medical / non-medical departments and operations with vendors.
  • Participate in strategic planning, quality, and operational improvement,
    patient service, budget management, capital equipment prioritization, and human resources planning.
  • Involved in the selection, monitoring, and management of contracted services.
    Also ensure, that contracted services and providers both meet applicable laws and regulations.
  • Hospital Director confirms that the services provided are consistent with the hospital s quality and safety standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure the safety of medical supplies and devices (e.g., storage conditions, integrity, contamination, expiration).
  • Work collaboratively to develop an effective strategic and operational planning process that includes soliciting inputs from patients and staff (e.g., feedback from patient satisfaction surveys and patients/staff complaints)
  • Respond to any adverse effects resulting from the use of medical supplies and devices through prompt investigation and the use of recurrence prevention measures.
  • Ensure the reporting of adverse effects resulting from the use of medical supplies and devices to the relevant regulatory authorities.
  • Develop the hospital's set of values and the code of conduct that are to be considered in case of a conflict or emergency.
  • Evaluating and managing any dysfunction of medical units.
  • Authorizes the policies and procedures.

Qualification & Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years of Managerial experience in a successful Health care facility.
  • Medical doctor or clinical background shall be an asset along with current Registration in the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties.
  • Master s Degree in Hospital / Healthcare Management or equivalent is highly preferred.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Exceptional emotional intelligence, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • English fluency and good command of all English skills as a language.
  • Knowledge of regulations established by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties related to healthcare practices.
  • Budget development and variance analysis expertise.
  • Must adapt streamlining processes to improve health programs and allocate resources for effective patient care.
  • Exceptional analytical skills.
  • Management & Organizational skills for detailed scope identification, progress monitoring & reporting, issues, and risks management.
