Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Maneuver heavy trucks/buses through diverse terrains and traffic conditions, ensuring safe and timely deliveries or passenger transport.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, meticulously checking all mechanical and safety systems to prevent breakdowns and ensure roadworthiness.
  • Adhere strictly to traffic laws and regulations, including hours of service and weight restrictions, to maintain a clean driving record and avoid penalties.
  • Adapt to changing schedules, routes, and weather conditions, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to completing assigned tasks.
  • Collaborate effectively with dispatchers, mechanics, and other team members to ensure efficient operations and resolve any arising issues.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Demonstrates a minimum of 2 years of verifiable experience driving heavy trucks or buses, showcasing a proven safety record.
  • Valid Light Vehicle / Heavy Bus Driving License.
  • Proven experience as a Heavy Bus or Light Driver.
  • Familiar with regional traffic laws and routes.
  • Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
