Job Description:
Foreground is partnering with a leading oilfield services provider in Oman to appoint a Health & Safety Manager who will oversee safety protocols across drilling and field operations. The role is responsible for ensuring compliance with HSE regulations, developing safety programs, and fostering a strong safety culture in high-risk environments.
Responsibilities
• Develop and implement HSE management systems aligned with international standards.
• Conduct risk assessments, hazard analysis, and emergency response planning.
• Lead safety training programs across drilling and operational teams.
• Monitor compliance with Omani and international HSE regulations.
• Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Liaise with regulatory authorities and industry bodies.
Qualifications
• Bachelors in Safety, Engineering, or related discipline; NEBOSH/IOSH certifications required.
• 10+ years of HSE management in oilfield services or drilling.
• Strong leadership in high-risk environments.
• Knowledge of ISO and OHSAS standards.
• Excellent English skills; Arabic an advantage.
