Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify individual healthcare needs and develop personalized care plans.
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes to nursing staff, playing a crucial role in early intervention.
- Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, ensuring their comfort and dignity.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients, fostering a positive and comforting environment.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, contributing to effective communication within the care team.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies, applying critical thinking and clinical judgment to stabilize patients.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or an equivalent nursing qualification from an accredited institution.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is essential, with preference for candidates who have completed a healthcare assistant training program.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to ensure preparedness in emergency situations.
- At least 1-2 years of hands-on patient care experience, demonstrating proficiency in assisting diverse patient populations.
- Fluency in English is mandatory, with additional languages being an asset for patient communication.
- Current nursing license in the respective state or country, with ongoing compliance to renewal requirements.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting, with a focus on acute care or specialized fields.
- Fluent in English, with additional language proficiency considered an asset for diverse patient interactions.
- Physical stamina to perform demanding tasks, including lifting patients and standing for extended periods.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to relay critical information clearly and compassionately.
