Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver engaging and interactive health and safety training programs tailored to diverse audiences, ensuring content relevance and knowledge retention.
  • Conduct thorough needs assessments to identify specific training requirements and gaps within the organization, proactively addressing emerging safety concerns.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive training materials, including presentations, manuals, and assessments, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and compliance with regulations.
  • Facilitate practical training sessions, demonstrations, and simulations to reinforce theoretical knowledge and promote hands-on skill development.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, observations, and feedback, making data-driven improvements to program content and delivery.
  • Stay current with industry best practices, regulatory changes, and emerging safety technologies to continuously update training programs.
  • Provide expert guidance and support to employees on health and safety matters, fostering a culture of proactive risk management and prevention.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify hazards and unsafe practices, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
  • Investigate workplace incidents and accidents, determining root causes and recommending corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including management and safety committees, to promote a strong safety culture throughout the organization.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field, providing a strong theoretical foundation.
  • Holds relevant certifications such as OSHA, NEBOSH, or equivalent, demonstrating a commitment to professional development and industry standards.
  • Demonstrates a minimum of 5 years of experience in health and safety, showcasing practical application of knowledge and skills.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or construction work environment is highly preferred, providing a deeper understanding of workplace hazards.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in using training software and presentation tools, enhancing the delivery of effective training.
  • Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills, effectively conveying complex information and building rapport with diverse audiences.
  • Exhibits strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, enabling the identification and resolution of safety-related issues.
  • Shows a strong ability to work independently and as part of a team, ensuring a collaborative approach to safety initiatives.
  • Demonstrates a proactive and enthusiastic approach to health and safety, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Proficiency in English is required, and additional language skills are a plus, facilitating communication with a diverse workforce.
  • Fluent in Hindi and Urdu.
  • Holder of OSH Train The Trainer Certificate
