Job Overview

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Health and Safety Officer (HSO) to develop, implement, and oversee HSE policies ensuring compliance with KSA regulations and international standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in risk assessment, safety training, and incident prevention within [your industry].

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies in compliance with Saudi OHS laws and international standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits.
• Investigate workplace incidents, near-misses, and accidents, and recommend corrective actions.
• Deliver safety training programs for employees and contractors.
• Ensure proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and enforce safety protocols.
• Maintain HSE documentation, including permits, reports, and emergency plans.
• Liaise with government authorities, clients, and subcontractors on HSE matters.
• Promote a strong safety culture through awareness campaigns and best practices.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of HSE experience in [industry, e.g., construction, oil & gas, manufacturing].
• Certifications: NEBOSH, IOSH, or OSHA certification is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi HSE regulations (e.g., SCIA, GOSI, Civil Defense).
• Excellent communication, training, and reporting skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office & HSE management software.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle emergency situations.
