We are hiring for a Head of Strategy with a mandate to oversee the formulation, communication, execution & monitoring of banks and its unit s strategy & initiatives aligned to the longer-term vision.

• Work closely with the CFO, as well as with leaders of the organization to articulate Bank, business, digital & transformation strategy.
• Drive leadership in planning, design and implementation of innovative business solutions by defining vision, strategies, & tactics to address market shifts to optimize the bank s competitive position.
• Development, streamlining & cascading down of Balance Scorecards, definition and monitoring of KPIs & KRIs across the organization.
• Lead and manage market intelligence activities responsible for gathering and disseminating key data, information & trends including, but not limited to the following:
  o Economic developments in markets/geographies/client segments of key interest to the bank
  o UAE banking market data evolution & competitive landscape
  o Latest developments in the digital & information technology space
  o Key regulatory trends & developments
• Lead execution and project management, holding the team accountable and ensuring that deadlines are met across high-priority, cross-functional projects.
• Analyse industry trends, existing or new regulatory requirements and their impact on business operations; make recommendations on alternative courses of action, including risk assessment, capital investment, and expansion at the corporate level.
• Initiate studies, contemporary market and competitive research pertaining to the future of the business and implementation of initiated plans.
• Monitor periodically the business and operational performance of Departments of the Bank to assess progress against plan in terms of both qualitative and quantitative parameters.
• Study the business environment to identify new business opportunities for the Bank, monitor Banking trends, identify competition and conduct SWOT and other economic analyses to make suitable recommendations to the Bank for enhancing and strengthening its business.
• Lead the development of the bank s investor, shareholders, rating agencies, and other key stakeholders reporting infrastructure through data history and market benchmarking and positioning with a detailed investor pack that communicates the bank s strategic achievements, objectives and goals.
• Leverage cross divisional/ functional collaboration and coordination to proactively manage investor relationship management and address varied needs of the investors, always ensure investor satisfaction.
