Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute sales strategy across KSA for Retail (GT, MT), HORECA, and Online channels.
  • Own full P&L responsibility and deliver top-line and bottom-line targets.
  • Appoint, manage, and optimize distributor relationships.
  • Drive trade marketing, promotions, and annual operating plans (AOP).
  • Identify opportunities for revenue growth, cost optimization, and process improvement.
  • Champion new product development and market entry strategies.
  • Engage with government bodies and manage tender businesses (e.g., Municipality, Ministry of Economy).

Market & Customer Development

  • Ensure strong market presence and retail shelf offtake for flagship products.
  • Expand footprint by onboarding new distributors and renegotiating existing agreements.
  • Strengthen relationships with modern trade buyers and improve numeric/weighted distribution.
  • Build robust systems for market intelligence, consumer insights, and competitive analysis.

People & Operations Leadership

  • Build and lead a high-performing sales team.
  • Establish and streamline sales processes and systems.
  • Oversee daily administrative and operational functions.
  • Mentor internal teams and distributor salesforce for capability development.
  • Collaborate with global HQ, legal, supply chain, and plant operations for seamless execution.

Desired Candidate Profile

Required Qualifications

  • Proven leadership and commercial acumen in distributor/trading-led models.
  • Experience in large-scale retail negotiations (MT, GT, TT).
  • Deep understanding of GCC markets and consumer behavior.
  • Exposure to MENA and North Africa markets is a plus.
  • Track record in transformation initiatives across people, processes, and systems.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • Ability to thrive in lean and flat organizational structures.
  • Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field is mandatory.
  • MBA or Master s degree in Sales, Marketing, or International Business is highly preferred, especially with a focus on FMCG or global markets.

Experience Requirements

  • 12 15 years of progressive experience in Sales & Commercial roles within the FMCG food sector.
  • Minimum 5 7 years in a senior leadership role managing large teams and regional operations.
