As part of the strategic development of its activities, our client is recruiting a Head of Health, Safety and Environment

Main Missions:

• Ensure the implementation, coordination and supervision of our client's health, safety and environmental policy,
• Define, implement and manage an integrated HSE management system
• Assess risks and propose, under the supervision of the QHSE Department Head and in agreement with the Deputy General Manager, a safety, hygiene and environmental protection policy,
• Ensure the reduction of the impact of industrial activity on the environment,
• Optimize the resources of your department.

Attributions :

• Design and implement, in consultation with the Head of the QSE Department, our client's health, safety and environmental policies.
• Regularly update health, safety and environmental policies,
• Carry out ongoing monitoring of regulations and legislation relating to hygiene, safety and the environment,
• Ensure our client's compliance with health, safety and environmental rules and regulations
• Implement training programs for employees to ensure their safety and well-being
• Assess health, safety and environmental risks and implement the necessary action plans to minimize these risks
• Manage incidents related to health, safety and the environment, lead accident/incident investigations, establish preventive actions and evaluate their effectiveness/efficiency
• Carry out internal audits, in accordance with the established schedule, to assess the level of compliance of HSE processes with internal procedures and current regulations
• Coordinate and monitor the implementation of the action plan for lifting reservations arising from regulatory control
• Raise employee awareness of the importance of health, safety and the environment and train them in the HSE approach and risk prevention
• Prepare and lead CHS meetings
• Communicate effectively with employees, external stakeholders and regulators in matters of health, safety and environment
