Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Head of Engineering shall be responsible for the complete design & detailed engineering of Mechanical system for the projects that are executed in the geographical domain covering multiple countries .must have expetise on HVAC & MEP projects.
- Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, etc.).
- Oversee design and engineering deliverables for major industrial and infrastructure projects.
- Plan, schedule, and manage engineering resources and budgets.
- Collaborate with clients, consultants, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
- Conduct detailed technical reviews and optimize design specifications.
- Evaluate and approve vendor engineering documentation.
- Conduct risk assessments and manage scope variations.
- Ensure compliance with international standards and project specifications.
- Mentor and develop engineering talent to strengthen the competency pipeline.
Support procurement functions and ensure timely approvals for vendor submissions
Desired Candidate Profile
Head of Engineering- MEP will have overall expertise in HVAC,FPS, EOT crane, C&I works related to Mechanical for Substations, Power plants, Oil & gas industries & Industrial buildings/HVAC engineering.
- Experience: Minimum 20 years in Mechanical Engineering, with at least 5 years in leadership roles managing large teams.
- Education: BE in Mechanical Engineering. Specialization in HVAC and Fire Protection Systems preferred.
- Technical Expertise: HVAC systems, Fire Protection & Alarm Systems, potable water networks, electrical interfaces, and tools like HAP, PipeNet, etc.
- Additional: Prior hands-on/ practical exposure in HVAC during early career or internships is desirable.
