KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Responsible for achieving International Divisions budget for Energy upstream and downstream line of business.

Gross written premium

Lead the team to deliver high-quality reinsurance solutions that are consistent with Organizations underwriting philosophy and risk appetite.

Loss Ratio/Bottom Line/Net Profit

Lead efforts to position in organization as one of the preferred reinsurers in the market.

Gross written premium and number of submissions

Develop and maintain strong relationships with business partners (brokers & cedants) to ensure a sustained flow of submissions along with a good conversion ratio.

Number of submissions and conversion ratio

Renewal management - Closely oversee the renewal process including negotiations with brokers and cedants to ensure renewals are concluded smoothly.

Renewal Retention ratio

Enhanced Service Levels to be provided to the business partners.

TAT and complaints from business partners.

Actively contribute in preparation of International Division s annual budget and business plans in line with organization s growth and underwriting philosophy.

Annual strategic budget exercise

Ensure the underwriting thought process and the rationales are properly documented.

Duly completed Risk Assessment sheets

Structured follow-ups with business partners.

Conversion ratio, monthly visits to brokers in Dubai and planned regional visits.

Interact with other verticals within International Division for cross selling and up selling.

Cross selling premium

Ensure Internal Guidelines are fully complied with.

Audit report/comments

Active portfolio management Closely monitor the portfolio performance and accumulations.

Adjust the underwriting guidelines and risk appetite matrix based on periodic review of loss ratios and aggregations.

Modifications to the underwriting guidelines/Risk Appetite

Ensure quote and renewal registers are updated regularly.
