Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft, review, and manage procurement contracts, including vendor and service agreements
  • Ensure compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements
  • Lead negotiations with vendors, suppliers, and service providers
  • Assess commercial risks and propose mitigation strategies
  • Monitor contract performance, compliance, expiry, and renewals
  • Maintain a secure and updated contract database
  • Coordinate with Legal on disputes, claims, and amendments
  • Review contract terms during tenders and provide advice
  • Standardize templates and develop tools to streamline contracting
  • Train and guide procurement teams on best practices

Job Objectives:

  • Effective lifecycle management of contracts
  • Minimize legal and financial risks through governance
  • Achieve cost-effective and commercially sound terms
  • Ensure strict compliance with legal and policy frameworks
  • Strengthen supplier relationships through well-managed contracts

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Law, Supply Chain Management, or related field
  • Preferably certified in Contracts/Law (CIPS, IACCM)
  • 7 10 years of experience in contracts management within procurement functions
  • Experience in a holding or multi-sector environment is a plus
  • In-depth knowledge of Qatari commercial and procurement laws
