Roles & Responsibilities
Head of Construction
Job Location : United Arab Emirates
Key Responsibilities:
You would oversee all construction projects from inception to completion. This involves planning budgets, schedules, and resources effectively to meet deadlines and quality standards.
Managing a team of construction professionals including engineers, architects, contractors, and laborers. Providing leadership, direction, and support to ensure projects are executed efficiently and safely.
Sourcing materials, equipment, and services required for construction projects. Negotiating contracts and managing vendor relationships to optimize costs and timelines.
Ensuring all construction activities comply with local building codes, regulations, and environmental standards. Obtaining necessary permits and licenses as required.
Identifying potential risks related to construction projects (e.g., safety hazards, budget overruns) and implementing strategies to mitigate them. Monitoring project progress and addressing issues promptly.
Implementing construction management software and other technological tools to streamline processes, improve communication, and enhance project efficiency.
