Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage the business to achieve budgeted KPIs and financial targets, with regular monthly reviews.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and minimize operational and financial risks.
- Drive customer experience and satisfaction aligned with brand and manufacturer standards, using NPS and CXP data.
- Resolve customer issues promptly and maintain documentation for review and preventive action.
- Prepare and submit monthly and quarterly reports to manufacturers and company leadership.
- Develop and implement the annual business plan, forecasts, and long-term strategies in coordination with various stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for additional business, recover lost sales, and explore new revenue streams.
- Lead, coach, and develop line managers to maximize team performance and career growth.
- Review manpower, costs, and operational requirements to ensure alignment with budgets.
- Monitor sales performance targets and performance reports to ensure compliance with brand and business plan requirements.
- Ensure all team members complete required brand training and development programs.
- Conduct monthly performance reviews and appraisals for direct reports in line with company standards.
- Oversee recruitment and staffing in accordance with business and budget requirements.
- Maintain high standards of brand CI across all locations in coordination with the CI department.
- Coordinate with product planning / ordering to ensure adequate level of stocks based on demand
- Work closely with marketing & communications team to design and execute marketing strategies, campaigns and promotions.
- Prepare and present new business opportunities and acquisitions to management, including business plans and documentation.
- Liaise with principals/manufacturers and external stakeholders on behalf of the company.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES (KSA)
- Strong understanding of automotive sales, aftersales, and dealership operations.
- Knowledge of brand management, OEM standards, and market positioning.
- Familiarity with financial management, budgeting, and P&L accountability.
- Understanding of customer experience frameworks, performance metrics, and reporting tools (e.g., CXP (customer experience program), NPS (net promoter score),SPT (sales performance target)).
- Awareness of marketing, promotional campaigns, and business development strategies.
- Knowledge of team management and leadership
Education & Experience
- A Bachelor / Master Degree in Business, Marketing, etc. would be ideal
- Any automotive, strategy, product / brand management related qualifications / certifications would be beneficial
- Around 8 to 10 years’ experience in a senior role in sales / aftersales / brand management with P & L responsibility is expected, preferably in automotive or related sectors
EXPECTED OUTCOMES / KEY RESULT AREAS
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and aftersales revenue targets.
- Ensure profitability and P&L objectives are met across all business units.
- Maintain high customer satisfaction and loyalty scores (CXP, NPS, DSAT – dealer satisfaction).
- Drive team performance and development, ensuring leadership effectiveness and talent growth.
- Execute the annual business plan and forecasting accurately and on time.
- Ensure brand compliance, retail standards, and facility presentation across all locations.
- Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities and lost sales recovery.
- Deliver timely and accurate reporting to company management and principals.
