Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Orchestrate the entire kitchen operation, ensuring seamless service and consistent culinary excellence, from prep to plate.
- Develop and refine authentic Chinese dishes, incorporating seasonal ingredients and innovative techniques to elevate the dining experience.
- Manage and mentor a diverse kitchen team, fostering a collaborative environment and providing ongoing training to enhance their skills.
- Oversee inventory management, minimizing waste and controlling food costs while maintaining the highest standards of quality.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Possesses a culinary degree or equivalent certification from a recognized culinary institution.
- Demonstrates exceptional proficiency in all aspects of Chinese cuisine, including regional specialties.
- Has a minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in Chinese kitchens, with at least 5 years in a head chef role.
- Exhibits a proven track record of menu development, cost control, and team leadership.
