Position: Hairdresser / Stylist
Location: Dubai, UAE
Reports to: Salon Manager

Job Summary:

The Hairdresser is responsible for providing high-quality hair services, ensuring excellent customer satisfaction, and maintaining salon standards. The role involves cutting, styling, coloring, and treating clients’ hair while keeping up with industry trends and techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

Hair Services

• Provide professional hair cutting, trimming, and styling services.
• Perform hair coloring, highlights, balayage, root touch-ups, and toning.
• Conduct hair treatments such as keratin, protein, botox, hot oil, and scalp treatments.
• Recommend suitable hairstyles and treatments based on client preferences and hair condition.
• Perform blow-dries, hair setting, ironing, curling, and other styling techniques.

Customer Service

• Greet clients, understand their needs, and offer expert consultation.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by delivering quality services.
• Maintain friendly, professional communication with clients.
• Handle client concerns professionally and ensure repeat business.

Salon Maintenance

• Ensure cleanliness and hygiene of work stations, tools, and equipment.
• Follow proper sterilization and sanitation procedures at all times.
• Assist in maintaining product display and inventory.

Professional Development

• Stay updated with latest hair trends, techniques, and salon products.
• Attend training sessions and workshops when required.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Hairdresser/Stylist (minimum 2–3 years preferred).
• Strong knowledge of cutting, coloring, and hair treatment techniques.
• Ability to work with all hair types (straight, wavy, curly).
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Professional appearance and hygiene standards.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Additional Preferences:

• Certification in Hairdressing or Beauty Therapy.
• Experience working in Dubai or GCC region (preferred but not mandatory).
• Knowledge of salon product brands (L’Oréal, Wella, Olaplex, Schwarzkopf, etc.).
