Job Description

A Guest Service Representative (Arabic & English Speaking) is crucial in providing exceptional customer service to guests, ensuring their experiences are pleasant and memorable. This role demands excellent communication skills in both Arabic and English, as the representative will interact with a diverse range of clients. The position is often found in hospitality and tourism settings, such as hotels, resorts, and travel agencies, where the ability to warmly welcome guests and efficiently address their needs is paramount. The representative will be expected to manage check-ins and check-outs, handle guest inquiries, and resolve complaints, enhancing guest satisfaction and loyalty. Fluency in both languages will not only aid in smooth communication but also bridge cultural nuances, ensuring guests feel respected and understood. Candidates should be empathetic, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking in a dynamic environment.


Responsibilities
  • Welcome and greet guests in both Arabic and English upon arrival at the establishment.
  • Efficiently handle the check-in and check-out processes for guests, ensuring accuracy.
  • Address and resolve guest inquiries or complaints with professionalism and empathy.
  • Provide guests with information about the facilities, services, and surrounding area attractions.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest requests are fulfilled promptly.
  • Maintain records of all guest accounts and ensure all billing is accurate and timely.
  • Handle reservations and update guest information in the hotel management system accurately.
  • Assist guests with booking tours, restaurant reservations, and transportation services as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Stay updated on current promotional offerings to inform guests and answer their queries confidently.
  • Ensure that all safety and security procedures are followed in compliance with company standards.
  • Foster a welcoming and inclusive environment for guests from diverse cultural backgrounds.

Requirements
  • Fluency in both Arabic and English is mandatory for this role.
  • Proven experience in a guest service or customer service position is preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage with guests effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to handle stressful situations calmly.
  • Familiarity with hotel management software or reservation systems is an advantage.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional hospitality certifications are beneficial.
