Roles & Responsibilities
As a Guest Service Executive, you will be the key point of contact for guests, ensuring their needs and requests are met with remarkable service and hospitality. Your role is pivotal in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring guest satisfaction at every touchpoint. You will manage check-ins and check-outs smoothly, handle guest complaints with grace, and work collaboratively with other teams to enhance guest experiences. A successful Guest Service Executive thrives in a fast-paced environment, exhibits exceptional communication skills, and maintains a keen attention to detail to ensure the comfort and happiness of guests throughout their stay. Responsibilities
- Welcome guests in a warm and friendly manner upon their arrival.
- Efficiently manage the check-in and check-out procedures for all guests.
- Address and resolve guest complaints and inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure room readiness.
- Provide accurate information regarding hotel services, facilities, and events.
- Ensure guest accounts are accurately posted and settled upon checkout.
- Maintain an organized and clean front desk area at all times.
- Assist guests with transportation arrangements and local attraction recommendations.
- Utilize reservation systems to manage room bookings and availability.
- Handle special requests with agility and customize experiences to guest preferences.
- Conduct service recovery efforts to regain guest satisfaction when required.
- Promote a culture of service excellence and lead by example for fellow staff.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality background is preferred.
- Minimum of two years experience in a guest service role, preferably in hospitality.
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact with guests of diverse backgrounds.
- Proficiency in using computer software systems, including MS Office Suite.
- Proven problem-solving capabilities and conflict-resolution skills.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
