Roles & Responsibilities

Zewail City of Science, Technology and Innovation is seeking to hire a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Student Guest Service Agent. This role is essential in ensuring a welcoming, organized, and supportive environment for our students, residents, and visitors. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a proactive attitude, and a strong commitment to providing exceptional service in a fast-paced academic setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for all residents and students.
  • Keep comprehensive records of all special requests, ensuring they are accessible at all times.
  • Respond to incoming phone calls promptly and provide accurate information to students and residents.
  • Manage the check-in process for new residents and students efficiently and professionally.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of and readiness to implement all emergency procedures when required.
  • Monitor, address, and follow up on all student and resident requests; provide necessary details such as room rates, directions, and registration assistance.
  • Greet and assist visitors, guests, and prospective students at the Admissions Center with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Assess visitor needs and either provide the requested information directly or refer them to the appropriate department or individual.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Ability to work on a rotating shift schedule, including night shifts.
  • Proficiency in both English and Arabic (spoken and written).
  • Patience, active listening, and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Windows and Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Capable of working under pressure with minimal supervision.
  • High level of discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality in all departmental matters.
  • Previous experience working with students or in an academic setting is preferred.
