What You ll Do

* Define and execute a comprehensive data science strategy aligned with organizational goals
* Lead cross-functional teams to design innovative, data-driven solutions for growth and efficiency
* Establish frameworks for A/B testing, multi-armed bandits, and quasi-experimental methods
* Ensure statistical rigor and best practices in experimentation and causality analysis
* Translate business challenges into analytical solutions and present insights to senior leadership
* Provide strategic leadership, aligning data science efforts with business priorities
* Identify emerging data trends and integrate them into company practices
* Collaborate with executives, product managers, and engineers to influence data-driven decisions
* Manage team resources, budgets, and project prioritization effectively
* Mentor and develop managers, fostering a high-performance culture
* Recruit and retain top talent while building career paths and training programs
* Lead organizational change management for new technologies and processes

Candidate Requirements

* 8 10 years of professional experience in data science with proven leadership track record
* Advanced degree (PhD or Master s) in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, or related discipline
* Expertise in statistics, experimentation, causal inference, and modeling
* Strong record of applying data science to deliver measurable business outcomes
* Strategic mindset with the ability to envision and execute long-term data-driven initiatives
* Demonstrated business acumen and ability to quantify impact on revenue, cost savings, and retention
* Experience managing managers, developing teams, and leading organizational change
* Exceptional communication and executive presence, with ability to influence at all levels
