Group Network Infrastructure Manager

Lead and manage the design, implementation, and ongoing operation of the Group’s global network infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance, and scalability across all sites.

Define and maintain the Group network infrastructure strategy in alignment with business objectives and the IT roadmap.

Design, optimize, and standardize network architecture, including LAN, WAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, VPN, firewalls, load balancers, and cloud networking environments.

Oversee daily network operations to ensure minimal downtime, optimal performance, and reliable connectivity across data centers, cloud platforms, and office locations.

Implement and manage redundancy, failover, and disaster recovery solutions to support business continuity.

Monitor network performance and capacity using appropriate tools, and plan upgrades to support business growth and evolving requirements.

Work closely with the cybersecurity team to implement network security policies, firewall configurations, and secure access solutions.

Ensure compliance with security standards, data privacy regulations, and IT governance frameworks.

Conduct network risk assessments, vulnerability assessments, and support penetration testing, ensuring effective mitigation measures are in place.

Lead network infrastructure projects, including upgrades, expansions, and migrations, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and within budget.

Manage the network infrastructure budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions and optimal resource utilization.

Manage relationships with network service providers, hardware vendors, and managed service partners; negotiate contracts, review SLAs, and monitor vendor performance.

Evaluate emerging technologies and drive innovation to enhance network performance, security, and efficiency.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure network requirements are effectively supported across all departments.

Develop and maintain comprehensive network documentation, including architecture diagrams, standards, policies, and operational procedures.

Maintain accurate network asset inventories and lifecycle management plans.

Provide technical support for complex network issues, lead root cause analysis for major incidents, and implement preventive measures.
