Roles & Responsibilities

Job Description As a Graduate Engineer in the Renewable Energy sector, you will be integrated with the team responsible for managing, overseeing and delivering engineering projects from inception to completion. You shall be involved in technical contribution to the projects as well in managing the projects and stakeholders. Responsibilities Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, and ensure adherence to timelines and budgetary constraints. Coordinate with project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, architects, and regulatory agencies. Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality of work, and adherence to safety protocols. Address any site-related issues promptly, providing technical guidance and solutions as necessary. Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, regulations, and environmental standards. Review project designs, specifications, and drawings to ensure accuracy and feasibility. Provide input during the design phase to optimize construction processes and materials selection. Collaborate with design teams to resolve any design-related issues or modifications. Implement QA/QC procedures to ensure construction work meets established standards and specifications. Conduct inspections and tests to verify the quality of materials and workmanship. Document and report any non-conformities or deviations, and work towards timely resolution. Work closely with architects, structural engineers, and other professionals to coordinate interdisciplinary aspects of projects. Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, encouraging effective communication and teamwork. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's degree an advantage). Professional Engineer (PE) license or eligibility for licensure. Strong technical knowledge in the core discipline i.e. electrical engineering. Proficient in softwares/ applications like powerpoint, excel, etc. Familiarity and working knowledge on AutoCad, Power System studies software shall be added advantage. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Commitment to safety, quality, and environmental stewardship. Willingness to travel.
