About the Position:

Wynn Al Marjan Island is currently seeking a Government Relations Manager to join the resort s Government Relations team.

The primary duties and responsibilities of this role are:

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strategic relationships with government officials, regulatory agencies, and public institutions
  • Regulatory Compliance: Monitor and interpret relevant laws, regulations, and policies. Ensure the organization complies with all governmental requirements
  • Advocacy & Representation: Represent the organization in meetings, forums, and public hearings. Advocate for favorable policies and regulations
  • Policy Analysis: Analyze proposed legislation and regulations to assess potential impact on the organization. Provide strategic recommendations
  • Permit & Licensing Management: Oversee the timely acquisition and renewal of all necessary government permits, licenses, and approvals
  • Crisis Management: Act as a liaison during regulatory investigations or government audits. Support the organization in resolving compliance issues
  • Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all government interactions and ensure timely reporting to internal stakeholders

About You:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Human Resources, Political Science, Public Administration, Law, or a related field (Master s preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 7 years of experience in government relations, regulatory affairs, or public policy.
  • Strong understanding of local, regional, and national government structures and processes.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to build networks and influence decision-makers.
  • Fluency in English & Arabic and strong written communication skills.
  • Experience working in Hospitality industry
  • Legal or compliance background is a plus
  • Multilingual capabilities are advantageous
