Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES/KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
1. Support the development, implementation, and regular review of the Group s corporate governance policies, charters, and frameworks.
2. Monitor compliance with internal governance requirements and relevant regulatory obligations.
3. Provide analytical and advisory support on governance-related risks and improvements to internal controls and governance structures.
4. Track updates in laws and regulations affecting corporate governance, and recommend necessary updates to frameworks and policies.
5. Oversee the proper delegation of authority and segregation of duties across business functions to mitigate governance risks.
6. Maintain awareness of evolving governance codes, institutional governance reforms, and regulatory expectations, advising leadership on necessary adaptations.
7. Ensure effective documentation and archiving of governance records, policies, and decisions.
8. Promote a culture of compliance and ethical conduct in line with the organization s governance principles.
Key Accountabilities
1. Carry out daily operations assigned for the department to comply with the company s standards.
2. Prepare timely and accurate department reports to meet the requirements, objectives, and standards of the company and the department.
3. Ensure the satisfaction of internal and external customers to address their needs in a courteous and timely manner.
4. Follow all relevant policies, procedures, and processes in order for the work to be carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
5. Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of processes and practices, work processes, cost effectiveness, and productivity enhancement.
6. Promote to other employees within the organization the implementation and adherence to policies, procedures, processes, and instructions.
7. Maintain a good and respectful relationship with other colleagues and represent the company in a good image.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Education and Certifications
Bachelor Degree in Law, Business Administration, MIS or similar is required, Master Degree is preferred.
Professional certifications are preferred
Knowledge and Experience
3 + years of experience in governance, legal, or compliance roles, preferably in financial or regulated sectors.
