Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
We are currently seeking a Global Tax Manager that will lead LXT s international tax planning, compliance, and reporting. This role will be responsible for managing global tax obligations, driving compliance with local and international regulations, and supporting business operations with proactive tax guidance. The Global Tax Manager will partner with finance, legal, and external advisors to optimize our global tax position while ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Tax Strategy & Planning
- Develop and implement global tax strategies to optimize the company s effective tax rate and cash flow.
- Provide tax planning support for cross-border transactions, restructurings, transfer pricing, and new business initiatives.
- Tax Compliance & Reporting
- Oversee global tax compliance, including direct, indirect, and withholding taxes.
- Manage the preparation and review of corporate income tax returns and VAT/GST filings across multiple jurisdictions.
- Ensure accurate quarterly and annual tax provision reporting under [IFRS/US GAAP].
- Transfer Pricing
- Monitor and implement global transfer pricing policies.
- Coordinate with external advisors on transfer pricing documentation, audits, and risk assessments.
- Risk & Audit Management
- Manage relationships with tax consultants worldwide who handle tax audits, inquiries, and disputes.
- Maintain compliance with international tax regulations, including OECD, BEPS, and local laws.
- Business Partnership
- Advise senior management on the tax implications of business decisions and expansion strategies.
- Support M&A transactions, due diligence, and integration from a tax perspective.
- Process Improvement & Governance
- Streamline tax reporting processes and implement best practices in tax risk management.
- Maintain strong internal controls and ensure accurate documentation of tax positions.
Desired Candidate Profile
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master s or Tax specialization preferred).
- Professional qualification (CPA, ACA, ACCA, CTA, or equivalent) strongly preferred.
- 7 10 years of progressive tax experience, with at least 3 years in international tax management.
- Strong technical knowledge of global corporate tax, transfer pricing, and indirect tax.
- Experience in a multinational corporation or Big Four accounting firm.
- Solid understanding of [IFRS/US GAAP] tax accounting principles.
Proven ability to manage global stakeholders and external advisors
